PART 2: Advertising Campaign

Choose one group from the VALS Framework (“Advertising” chapter, p. 339) that you want to target.

Create a product for the SPRING MARKET (Link: https://www.fastcapital360.com/blog/spring-marketing-slogans-campaign-ideas/). You can think about important days in spring: Spring Break, International Women’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, the official first day of spring, April Fool’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, and Earth Day. For example, it can be a new clothing or jewelry line for spring break travelers, a board game about April Fool’s Day, a new vegan food truck/cart for Earth Day, a spa day package for moms on Mother’s Day, a new organic sunscreen line, etc.

  1. Describe your product in detail
  2. Create a name for your product and slogan.
  3. Which VALS group (p. 339) are you targeting and why? What demographics/psychographics would your advertising campaign try to reach?
  4. How much would the product cost for consumers? Why? (remember your target audience)
